Lately too many washing machines have been out of service. Oddly the washing machines that the Ladies use for the laundry services as drop off always functions. Currently almost 1/4 of their washing machine are not functioning for the clients. The New owner has to pay more attention to maintenance or get new machines that work.
The place is clean, and the cost to run the machines is pretty reasonable (the largest washer costs $6.25, the next one down costs $5). The staff can be a bit gruff, but friendly enough. The cost to have them do your laundry is also pretty good.
This place will steal your clothes without impunity. I have had entire bags go missing, one bag had all the socks missing. My micro fiber clothes never come back from the wash, and best of all? I had a missing shirt that the women all swore was never there. I go in the next week and the woman JoAnne is wearing my shirt! The owners take zero responsibility and actually laughed in my face when I complained an entire bag of clothes is missing.
I went too do laundry there a week ago,one lady folding laundry was screaming at someone for using bathroom.she wouldnt stop person had left with there laundry i would've done same.
Served the community of Rocky Point for over 50 years. Only complaint till resently was the amount of water added to the wash it was a little sparse. You just had to add more water.
Great place to do laundry. Good places to eat nearby.
